im here from CoG. no, like srsly you can probably find a comment I left there not so long ago calling this game amazing or sm. bc it is. it is. I replayed it for the fourth time once it came out on here ...

i'm ngl, i've been seeing this IF pop up for such a long time on the COG forums and whatnot, but the character creation part always made me go nope, not worth reading, despite the fact that i'm a huge historical-anything enjoyer. i ended up playing this on a late-night whim and holy shit?? peak??

i *really* enjoy everyone's dynamics, and the pacing felt great

this is one of my favourite games! usually i don't like playing historically set games but this one has my heart. it's so well written i cried when Gregory shouted at me and i refuse to make him a lover now. nevertheless, it's an amazing game and i can't wait for the next chapters to come out

Uhm I love it?? The humour is so incredible, every sentence had me giggling. I enjoy the scenarios Sherlock ends up in. All the characters are fleshed out and not 'perfect'. They are endearing and so very flawed (looking at you Lestrade, you meanie).

A lock of Watson's hair, he doesn't know...

The currently build leaves off with a lot of drama potential. I can't wait for more!

I am (was?) in the Discord server but life got busy and I haven't checked both it and CoG in a long time, didn't expect to find this on itch.io the one time I thought to browse! So happy to see it still going strong ❤️

Jane the adorable, shy, and embarrassed  partner that you are... but seriously I'm loving this story so far. The interactions and responses available are great and I love just how in-depth you can create your personality. I'm still smiling and giggling over how adorable Jane is when she's jealous and I can't wait to see more!!

I know Sherlock Holmes is not an autistic character, but I can't help but resonate a lot with this MC. The feeling like the world is ending when you've got nothing to hyperfixate on, the mention of a scattered focus, becoming overstimulated, wanting to go home to find relief...

I have not yet finished the game, but my goodness! This is just... Beautiful. I especially love how your choices can really lead to different outcomes, like the order in which you choose. This was one of the reasons why I haven't finished yet, too busy trying to see all options. You can imagine all the saves I have, haha. 

I have just passed the part where John barges in on Hamish catching Sherlock, and damn! They both literally squared off. I find it especially endearing how defensive (?) John was, it was very cute. 

I am, however, quite saddened that a polyamorous relationship is not possible. They are all just so charming. Though, you did mention that there are other relationship shapes (?) that are possible. If Sherlock ends up in one of those, yet chooses one person to romance, would that affect our relationship with other characters? Example, I choose 'romantic' options with John, yet still choose to pursue Hamish, would that affect his relationship with me? Though I feel like he would be the most accepting, the sweetheart.

OMG I played this on Dashing don! I glad to see it's still alive and now in a more accessible place :) I love your writing style and it's rare to see so much customization, especially when it actually effects the story!

This is awesome! I just played the whole thing through and I'm hooked. I can't wait to see more!!!

I gotta confess... when Gregory drops his sandwich and Sherlock points it out, I'm very dissappointed he didn't yell "NO SHIT, SHERLOCK" instead

All I can say is..WOW. Definitely did not expect this to be so amazing! I absolutely love the given choices, the romance and the characters. Cannot wait for more! (English isn't my native language so pardon me if I made no sense, there's simply not enough words in my vocabulary to describe this masterpiece :D)
